Company background and marketplace

The company was founded in July 2002, starting off as a small business with glazing activities mainly covering London and Essex.

The greater majority of jobs related to emergency glass replacement and repairs for domestic customers with emphasis of offering a 24-hours service with a one-hour response in case of emergency.

Reputation and expertise had been greatly enhanced and the business vastly expanded on a national basis during 2003, attracting the attention of many recognised national companies and authorities that used our services.

2004 saw the introduction of account customers and by the end of the year we had obtained a prestigious and large portfolio of valued customers to its name.

The beginning of 2005 saw further expansion opening new engineer bases. At this time the decision was also made to provide customers with a full maintenance package, which included plumbing (gas and water), electrical and locksmith services in addition to a service providing the eradication of pests, as it was identified there was a need for a multi trade company with the Allserve group created as the brand. The marketplace was right for picking and as utilising subcontractors and PAYE staff had been trialled and had not worked in terms of quality service and profit, the decision was made to create franchises and to put the service we wanted in place, also procuring much more profitable, regular work which is sustainable.
